MANIFESTO
I believe design is not merely the production of objects, but the definition of functional relationships between people, tools, and their context.
Every product contributes to shaping everyday behaviour: it can make an action clearer, improve the understanding of its use, and encourage a more conscious interaction.
My role as a designer is to structure efficient and meaningful user experiences through coherent project decisions.
I design with the aim of highlighting the value of the present action through the consistency of materials, the precision of form, and the clarity of function.
Authenticity, No artifice. Every material and formal choice must express its true nature without disguise.
Simplicity, Reducing to the essential is an act of respect: it allows the object to coexist with the user without imposing itself.
Functionality, Aesthetics arise from use. I observe everyday gestures to design intuitive and accessible solutions.
Sustainability, Not a label, but a design responsibility: durable materials, conscious processes, repairable products.
Materiality, I favour honest materials, wood, metal, glass, concrete, that age with dignity and bear the marks of time.
Connection, An object that inspires affection is an object that lasts. Design does not end with production; it continues in use.
Authenticity becomes visible materiality. If an object is to be honest, it must show itself for what it is. That’s why I use sincere materials, wood, metal, glass, concrete, without concealing them. Joints, textures, and traces of workmanship are not flaws to hide, but marks of truth.
Simplicity translates into essential forms. Eliminating the superfluous is not aesthetic minimalism, but respect for those who use the object. Clean lines and clear proportions make use immediate and leave room for gesture.
Functionality generates visual clarity. When function is the starting point, form is not decoration but consequence. Every protrusion, curve, or dimension has a reason to exist. If it doesn’t serve a purpose, it doesn’t belong.
Sustainability demands durability and modularity. A product should be repairable, updatable, and customizable. This affects not only materials, but also the interface, assembly methods, and even the formal language.
Emotional connection guides the user experience. If I want an object to be cherished over time, it must evoke rituals and affection. That’s why I design with gestures in mind, not just functions: use must have a sensory, almost ceremonial quality.
THE KIND OF OBJECTS I WANT TO BRING INTO THE WORLD
I design relational objects. I don’t draw mere tools, but companions in use. A well-designed object does more than function, it accompanies an everyday gesture and makes it conscious. Like a vinyl record that compels you to listen with intention, I seek products that turn use into ritual.
I believe in industry as a form of evolved craftsmanship. I use technology not to imitate the hand, but to amplify it. CNC, 3D printing, and hybrid processes allow me to translate an intimate intuition into an accessible, reproducible form. It’s my idea of serial poetry.
I design for time. The materials I choose must age with dignity, carry the marks of use, and tell a story. A well-designed object does not wear out, it matures. And the more it is used, the more personal it becomes.
